ADOLESCENTS & YOUNG ADULTS
"STOP TRYING TO BE LESS OF WHO YOU ARE. LET THIS TIME IN YOUR LIFE CUT YOU OPEN AND DRAIN ALL OF THE THINGS THAT ARE HOLDING YOU BACK."
~Jennifer Elisabeth
The transition between childhood and young adulthood is often a tumultuous and challenging time for the adolescent and the adults who are supporting them on their journey. Adolescence can be especially challenging for persons with differences that were present at birth or acquired during their life from injury or development. As with any client, Occupational Therapy supports the client in reaching their highest potential in meaningful roles to participate in a quality life with purpose and compassion. Comprehensive assessment and recommendation of services are presented with respect to each young adult’s goals, interests, and priorities.
